Nothing can change this cycle but time. 6) States are struggling to keep up with the lack of revenue 7) Higher taxes will slow the economy more 8) Higher interest rates will slow the economy and make it harder for the US to service debts, and jack up gold prices 9) Gold production is down 10) EU debt problems will continue – nothings fixed 11) If a war breaks out gold will be jacked up. 12) The too big to fail banks are getting bigger and are more susceptible to global volatility 13) The banks are busted if they had to mark to market their OTC derivatives – Thank you FASB 14) No clearing house for OTC’ derivatives. No transparency for that market. 15) Pension funds sucked up those toxic OTC’s derivatives. So they are sitting on time bombs that have already exploded but are unrecognized on their balance sheets. 16) Fannie and Freddie have toxic loans thanks to the banking industry – Which we (taxpayers) are on the hook 17) China, Russia, Brazil, most of Asia is moving away from the US dollar. When those dollars come home to roost that will jack up gold. 18) The unemployment rate dropped because those folks are off the system, not that people are being employed.
