Gold's Bull Market is Here to Stay, $2,500+ This Year

J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. (JPM) said they see gold prices steadily climbing over $2,000 this year, reaching $2,500 by the year's end.

 

We haven't seen a gold-trend like this since the 1970s, peaking around 1980, but the current global economy could re-create a similar "parabolic" pattern for gold within the next few months.

 

Late yesterday, both J.P Morgan and Goldman Sachs Group (GS) raised their gold prices. Goldman suspects prices for an ounce of gold to be closer to $1,900 in the next year.

Gold in USD terms is 2.4% higher and is higher against all currencies and trading at USD 1,760.40 , EUR 1,234.10 , GBP 1,075.70, CHF 1,306.80 per ounce and 132,719.00 JPY.

Gold’s London AM fix was USD 1,770.00, EUR 1241.75, GBP 1080.98. Gold reached new record nominal highs at $1,780.10/oz and new nominal highs in euros and sterling also this morning.

In the short term there is the risk of a correction as gold’s rise is now becoming front page (on front page of FT today) and headline news.

 

The fact that silver has fallen in recent days and remains below $40/oz and the fact that gold mining equities have also not risen may also be a warning signal.

 

Gold has risen from below $1,500/oz to nearly $1,800/oz in 5 weeks (since the start of July) and is up nearly 18% in dollar terms.

 

Therefore, in conventional terms gold is most certainly overbought.

Iniating QE3 will have further bullish affects for the precious metal commodities too.

What does this mean for investors? Simple: follow the trend, buy on dips (like we've been telling you...). Don't sell in haste, but if you do decide you want to sell for profit "do so after two days of lower prices or a weekly lower close."

 

Moral of the story? Hold onto gold if you can. The bull market trend looks pretty solid for the foreseeable future. We'll let you know when that changes.

เขาทำนายว่าเดือน สิงหา จะเป็นเดือนที่น่าสนใจ โดยเฉพาะช่วงสัปดาห์สุดท้าย จะเป็นการกระชากขึ้นแรงครั้งสุดท้ายก่อนมีการปรับฐานใหญ่

แนวรับที่แข็งแกร่งมากอยู่แถวๆ 1000-1300 เหรียญ

Our respected colleague Alf Fields would agree that traders better have karma on their side, but the gold market is nowhere near full valuation. สำหรับคนที่ถือทองคำถูกกาลเทศะ จะสำแดงถึงความเก๋าและอดทนอย่างเหลือล้นจนดังกระฉ่อนไปทั่วเมือง จึงสมควรได้รับรางวัลใหญ่

 

ดังนั้นทองคำจะไร้ความหมายทันทีในการขึ้นไปถึงจุดยอด

James Turk : Gold is starting to become the go to asset , people are starting to recognize the advantages that gold has over fiat currencies and it sort of followed up from the debt deal which was received very badly around the world , and the FED announcement that they will keep interest rates low for another two years ....we have seen a lot of volatility in the market but the main thing is the trend in both gold and silver is still up , may be next week is going to be a big week for silver

Bob Chapman : By the end of February we will see Gold somewhere around $3000/oz to #3200/oz and silver probably $80/oz to a $100/oz and may be higher Silver has a problem it is a thin market and it is manipulated by JP Morgan Chase and HSBC and they continue to do it and the CFTC allows this monopoly to do what's doing which means you have no regulations whatsoever ..., Gold probably within the next month will go to $2000/oz - $2200/oz and by February it should go up to $3000/oz - $3200/oz why ? well number one it should be selling at $8000/oz number two , it is now the Prima Face currency in the world it beat the dollar in the last two and half years

รบกวนถามหน่อยครับ

 

เกี่ยวกับรูปแบบราคาน้ำมัน ที่เมื่อก่อนขึ้นมา จนคาดกว่าจะไป $200 แต่เสร็จก็โดนทุบกระจุยกระจาย จนการบินไทยถึงกับตาตั้งเพราะไปทำ future ไว้

ทีนี้ผมอยากรู้เหตุผลว่าทำไมถึงขึันและ โดนทุบร่วงได้ง่ายๆขนาดนั้น (และเหมือนกับปัจจุบันก็ลงไปแยะมาก พึ่งรีบาวด์ขึ้นมาหน่อย)

The P&F chart of gold (each box is worth 10 points) remains bullishly intact. So far, we do not have a three-box reversal. But gold is becoming extended and overbought. The next nearby target is 2000 for gold. Central banks, which have been net sellers of gold, are now net buyers, particularly the Asian central banks. I expect gold to be erratic an unstable like the rest of the market, and it will takes guts to sit with gold over coming weeks.”

 

 

 

“When chaos reigns, people look for certainty. When all is lost, only one item stands supreme and has been supreme for thousands of years. That item is gold. You can see on the P&F chart that gold has been, and is, working its way higher. The anti-gold element is afraid of gold hitting the even number of 2000, thus we see gold, day after day, fluctuating in the 1500 to 1700 area, but never breaking out to 1900, or God forbid -- 2000.

 

 

At 2000, the next objective would be 2500, and from there 5000, and from 5000 -- 10000. As gold marches higher, it's playing the death knell for fiat money. And every central banker knows it. So far, the P&F chart does not show a three-box correction.

 

 

Just imagine, the dollar, the world's reserve currency, backed by a nation with a credit rating that is less than AAA. No wonder far-sighted investors are opting for gold instead of man-made (fiat) money.

Martin Armstrong ใช้กราฟราคาระยะยาวหลายสิบปี โดยเป็นกราฟ month กราฟ year เลยทีเดียวครับ

การที่เขาบอกว่าแนวรับตรงนั้นแข็งแกร่งมาก ไม่ได้หมายความว่าราคาจะลงไปถึงตรงนั้นครับ

 

เอาแค่อันแรกก่อนก็ได้คือ 14xx ที่เป็นราคาปิดของปีที่แล้ว เขาบอกว่าถ้าลงต่ำกว่าตรงนี้การปรับตัวรอบนี้จะกินเวลานาน ถึงประมาณเดือน ก.พ. ปีหน้า

แต่หากลงไม่ถึงการปรับตัวจะใช้เวลาสั้นกว่านั้น

 

เรื่องอนาคตไม่มีใครรู้หรอกครับ เอาแค่ย้อนเวลากลับไป กลางเดือนที่แล้ว หากบอกว่าราคาทองจะมาถึงตรงนี้ คงต้องมีคนบอกว่าบ้า

จากที่อ่านผ่านมา การขึ้นรอบนี้ในวันที่ร้อนแรงต่อเนื่องกัน ส่วนหนึ่งเป็นเพราะ short squeeze ครับ คือคนที่ short ไว้ถูกบังคับให้ปิดสถานะ (ต้องซื้อคืน)

ปฏิกริยานี้ต่อเนื่องเป็นลูกโซ่ไปเรื่อยๆ จนกว่าแรงขายใหม่จะเข้ามาแทนที่

แรงขาย short (ที่อ่านมา) ตอนนี้เขาบอกว่าแรงทีเดียวแหละครับ

 

การที่ราคาปรับลงช่วงที่ผ่านมา ก็คือแรงซื้อจากคนที่ถูกบังคับปิดสถานะ short ลดลงครับ แรงซื้อจริงเท่าทีอ่านยังแข็งแรงดีอยู่

 

ทีนี้หากมองกลับกัน หากมีการขายนำ แรงๆ ทำให้มีการบังคับขายปิดสัญญา Long ก็จะเกิดปฏิกริยาลูกโซ่ ย้อนทางกับขาขึ้นรอบที่แล้วได้เช่นกัน

 

อย่าประมาทฝั่งขาย short นะครับ

ฝั่งเรามองว่าทองแพง เพราะ currency ด้อยค่า

แต่พวก Bankers เขามองว่า currency ถูกทำให้ด้อยค่า เพราะราคาทองที่แพงขึ้น (เคยมีบทสัมภาษณ์ในข่าว ผมเคยแปลไว้หลายเดือนก่อน)

 

เขาถือว่าทองคำคือ ปรปักษ์กับ US$ เป็นปรปักษ์กับ Banking Sector

หมายความว่าเรากำลังสู้กับ FED สู้กับ EU และธนาคารหลักๆ ของสหรัฐ และ ยุโรปทั้งหลาย ที่กำลังพึ่งพิง Fiat Currency อยู่ขณะนี้

อย่าคิดว่าพวกเขาจะไม่สู้นะครับ เขาจะสู้ สู้หนัก แม้ปัจจัยจะเข้าข้างเรา

แต่อย่าลืมว่าเขาเป็นคนเขียนกติกานะครับ

 

เครื่องมือหนึ่งที่คนยังกลัวกันอยู่ โดยเฉพาะสหรัฐ คือ การเวนคืนทอง บังคับให้คนสหรัฐขายทองทั้งหมดให้รัฐบาลในราคาที่ต่ำกว่าท้องตลาด (เคยทำแล้วในอดีต)

ใครไม่ขาย ใครแอบถือทอง ถือว่าผิดกฏหมายติดคุกครับ มีการพูดคุยกันเยอะว่าตัวเลขที่น่ากลัวคือประมาณ $2000 (ส่วนตัวเชื่อว่าทำไม่ได้ในยุคนี้ แต่ก็ไม่น่าประมาท)

 

เครื่องมือระดับอ่อนมาหน่อย ก็คือ ขึ้น Margin ขึ้นไปเรื่อยๆ (ขึ้นแล้วไม่ยอมลงเสียด้วยซิ) เพื่อหยุดความร้อนแรงของราคา

ลองดู Silver เป็นตัวอย่างครับ โดนไปหลายรอบถึงตอนนี้ยังโงหัวแทบไม่ขึ้น (แต่ผมว่าอีกไม่นานแล้วหละ)

 

นอกจากนี้ เครื่องมือที่ใช้อยู่เป็นประจำก็คือ เอานักวิเคราะห์ที่เห็นต่อต้านโลหะมีค่า ออกอากาศบ่อยๆ ครับ discredit ไปเรื่อยๆ พูดบ่อยๆ เดี๋ยวคนเชื่อว่าจริงเอง

 

 

ทั้งหมดเขียนมาให้กลัวงั้นเอง จะได้ไม่ประมาทกันครับ (เพราะคู่ต่อสู้เราไม่ธรรมดา ประมาทไม่ได้เลย)
